Professionally I am an engineer, with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Massey University in Palmerston North, Graduating in 2015. I have been working as an engineer since 2017, and was a dental & medical equipment service technician before this.

Personally, I am a maker, always have been, and spend virtually every moment I have free either making something new, or planning to make something new.

I love teaching

I love teaching.
Through my work as an engineer designing products, managing projects, and my numerous hobbies, I frequently find myself in front of people wanting or needing to learn new skills

Creating & Facilitating

I greatly enjoy creating and facilitating.
Through my many professional life, different hobbies, and the skills gained from university study, I often find myself helping others to achieve a goal, or making something that helps others in some way

Communication

I am known for communicating effectively.Through my professional experience, as well as both social dancing and my hobbies that lead me to teaching, I have developed the ability to talk with a wide array of people of many different ages, backgrounds, and levels of understanding on a subject being discussed. I am known for my ability to communicate both new and established concepts and information in a way that others can understand.

'Skill Addict'

I've been called a "skill addict" because of my desire to pick up new skills with very little provocation.
My constant pursuit of many different hobbies also probably contributed somewhat to this: target shooting, ballroom dance, social partner dancing (Modern Jive), blacksmithing, silversmithing & jewellery making, climbing, martial arts, archery, teaching myself to make bowstrings for archery, historical fencing (sword fighting as a martial art), fire spinning, & circus arts.
